The 2015 top ten elite schools’ demonstration of efficient classroom of the national curriculum reform came to an end on April 10 as well as activities of excellent teachers in Sichuan Province offering courses on-site. Many famous national experts and school teachers inside and outside Sichuan Province gathered in Chongzhou, sharing the charm of efficient classroom with each other: classrooms became learning rooms; teaching materials became learning materials; lesson plans became learning plans and teachers became seniors.
    Highlight one: lots of famous experts and elite schools gathered here, including Guo Zhenyou, vice-president of China Education Association and deputy chief educational inspector of the Ministry of Education Deputy; Zhao Guozhong, dean of a faculty of Jiangsu Institute of Education Science; Zhao Fengping, one of the national top ten outstanding principals; Zhang Sibao, a core expert of China Education Association and many other members of new curriculum reform such as Gong Xiongfei. There were also more than 1200 teachers coming from Chongqing, Tianjin, Zhejiang Province, Guangdong Province and other places.
    Highlight two: four experts’ lectures about the construction and  implementation of efficient classroom led to teachers’ brainstorming. Just as Guo Zhenyou pointed out in his lecture, teachers should think about what to learn, what we got and what we could do in the future. At the same time, principal Zhao Fengping shared Changle No.2 Middle School’s experience of the curriculum reform with teachers from several aspects such as educational belief, educational value and so on. Moreover, dean Gong Xiongfei analyzed the glamour of “charming classroom” and director Zhang Sibao put forward specific measures and methods to break the bottleneck problems of curriculum reform.
    Highlight three: teaching shows about efficient classroom had been presented frequently. During the event, experts and excellent teachers from 26 famous schools, such as Chengdu No.7 Middle School and Nanjing No.13 Middle School, not only showed their efficient classroom teaching skills of multiple subjects, but also competed with teachers of Chongqing High School and discussed with them.“Competing with national masters, although very nervous, I got many innovative methods to improve the efficient classroom teaching and greater confidence.” A Chinese teacher in Chongqing High School Yao Lan said.
    This demonstration of efficient classroom of the national curriculum reform was an educational event in Chongzhou in the spring of 2015, which offered teachers a platform for mutual exchange and mutual learning and also a great opportunity to improve their professional   teaching skills.
