"Sun class elite gathered in Chongzhou national curriculum reform"

    On April 9, 2015, Chongqing senior high school and junior high school in Chongzhou held the demonstration of class curriculum by top ten elite and the presentation of elite classes by the famous teachers from curriculum reform schools of Sichuan province. More than 1,200 educators from various provinces gathered in Chongzhou, had a heated discussion of the curriculum reform and an observation of these elite classes.
    This demonstration was divided into two groups and held in four places, the senior high school group and the junior high school group. The showing subjects were language, math and English. Curriculum elite from other 26 schools like Chengdu NO.7 school and 5 famous teachers from our school presented a feast of classes to all attendees.
    Adhering to the new ideas of curriculum reform, the demonstrating classes were student-centered and the teachers were concentrated on guiding students to probe and pay attention to catching the shining points of students. The first class of senior high school group was a math class by Meng Zhaoguan from Changyue No.2 high school. The content of this class was selected from grade 2 textbook, about “sufficient conditions and necessary conditions”. Meng divided the students into 10 groups to discuss questions and the conclusions were presented in groups. After that, the teacher found the common problem and led the students to have a further discussion. Through a chain of questions and answers, the teacher’s tips and students’ discussions, the students could achieve the content of this class in a relaxed and speculative atmosphere. In fact, every class was wonderful but plain and changed from focusing on teachers’ performance. Every class had been spoken highly of and the excellent performance of students also achieved applause from time to time.
    Meanwhile, Chongqing high school have “ think and ask” mode class and community activities are fully open to the national delegates teachers. These teachers walk into this new mode class, and have observed the six steps from pre-learning to strengthen learning. At noon break time, whether it is calligraphy club or paper-cut association have impressed on these teachers. Teachers have aware of the  teaching mode of the Chongqing high school.
    This event have lasted 2days, not only won the attention and affirmation of the relevant departments, while also provided a  exchange platform for thousands educators. In the campus of Chongqing high school and middle school, every attendee teachers communicated around effective class all the time.
